System control

System control enables you to control the way a subsystem interfaces with the General Ledger application. If you use system control, then you are required to close a Lease Management period before closing the equivalent General Ledger period.

System control is set up at the company level on System Control (GL01.1).

If the Closing Control field is set to Yes for the Lease Management application, then you must close a Lease Management period before General Ledger can close the equivalent period. See the General Ledger User Guide.
