Setting up a Global Location Number (GLN)

This procedure explains how to set up a Global Location Number to an IC Location.

To assign a GLN to an Inventory Control company, complete these steps:

  1. Access Global Location Numbers (IC58.1).
  2. Specify the GLN number for this company.
  3. Specify the Parent GLN if it exists.
  4. Set the Status flag to Active, and select the record type 02 (IC Company).
  5. Click Add.
  6. When the window opens, specify the IC Company to which this GLN belongs.
