Salary range
A salary range is a single range of salaries applied to a job code. A salary range consists of minimum, midpoint, and maximum salary pay rates used for wage analysis.
All employees assigned to a job code use the same salary range for wage analysis. Salary ranges do not determine an employee's actual rate of pay.
Example
Two Rivers Headquarters has three different salary ranges for clerks. They have defined three job codes and defined the salary ranges for each code.
