Troubleshooting GL197

Error Message	To Correct
Accrual valid for year end processing only	The current period must be the last period of the fiscal calendar in order to accrue commitments and encumbrances. In other words, you cannot select Yes in the Accrue Commitments, Encumbrances field unless you are processing year end.
Budget Option valid for year end processing only	The current period must be the last period of the fiscal calendar in order to update next year's commitment budget. In other words, you cannot select Yes in the Update Next Year Commitment budget field unless your are processing year end.
Invalid accounting period	You cannot roll forward to a period beyond the next period. Choose the next period by leaving the To Period field blank.
Invalid As Of Year – Select Prior Years	This error will also occur if the current calendar period is 1 and you choose Current in the As Of Year field and 1 in the To Period field. Select Prior Years in the As of Year field to fix this.
