Operator code

When you add a journal entry, General Ledger assigns an operator code to the entry. The operator code is based on the user's login. Posting and reporting can be performed by operator code, providing a convenient control feature. You can view or print the operator code on these forms:

Note: Choose Select while your cursor is on the journal number to see an operator code in GL40.1, GL14.1, GL70.1, or GL75.1.
