To set up your company for budget actuals encumbrance method

  1. Access the General Ledger Company setup form (GL10.1).
  2. On the Budgets tab, select Budget Actual in the Encumbrance Method field.
  3. Access PO company Setup (PO01).
  4. On the Main tab, select 1 – Keep Commitments in the Commitments Processing on PO Unrelease field.
