Aggregate sales processing

In certain situations, a franchiser may need to record sales figures from a franchisee at one frequency and bill for the sales-based charges at another frequency.

For example, a franchiser may be required to collect sales data from a franchisee on a weekly basis but prefers to bill the franchisee on a monthly basis. The application will record sales figures on a weekly basis, total these weekly figures, and bill the customer once a month, based on the total aggregated sales reported by the franchisee for the month.

You must set up your aggregate sales processing options at the company or contract level. Aggregate sales are recorded during sales entry. Charges are calculated when you run Sales Update (FR120).
