Defining a sales budget ID

You can use a sales budget ID as an attribute on a sales contract. After you add a budget ID as a contract attribute, you cannot delete it. Use this procedure to create and maintain sales budget IDs at the company level.

  1. Access Sales Budget (FR02.1).
  2. Use these guidelines to specify the field values to define a sales budget ID:
    Company

    Select the company number for the company that you want to define the sales budget ID.

    Budget ID

    Add a sales budget ID to the company.

    Type

    Select the type of budget ID you want to add. This feature lets you record and report on budgeted amounts for a contract.

    Description

    Specify a description for the budget ID.

    Curr

    You can select the company base currency code defined on Company (GL10.1).
