Budget conversion

If you create budgets in a third-party budgeting application or in a spreadsheet, then you must map data fields in your budget to the Budget Conversion (FBUDGETREL for UNIX and Windows or DBGLFBR for IBM i) database file before you can interface the budget to the Budgeting application. You can find information about the mapping process (see File Layouts) on the Documentation page on Infor Support Portal.

After you define your conversion options and transfer your non-Lawson data to the Budgeting application, you can proceed to update the imported data and create budget and header detail records.

You can use these budget interface programs and files to import data into the Budgeting application:

Online program Batch program Report program Budget Interface Maintenance (FB65.1) Budget Interface (FB165) Budget Interface Listing (FB265)
Interface file Budget Conversion (FBUDGETREL for UNIX and Windows or DBGLFBR for IBM i)
Updated files Budget Header (FBHEADER for UNIX and Windows or DBGLFBH for IBM i) Budget Detail (FBDETAIL for UNIX and Windows or DBGLFBD for IBM i) General Ledger Consolidation (GLCONSOL for UNIX and Windows or DBGLGCN for IBM i)
