Period of cancelling an order or line
You can cancel a released order or individual lines until you release the shipment in the Warehouse application. You can cancel both unreleased and released orders. If you have not released the shipment, but started processing in the Warehouse, then you must first undo any feedback you performed then delete the shipment record. See Fulfilling customer orders.
You cannot cancel an order or line that is on hold.
Use of the Cancellation form
The Cancellation (OE10.8) form lets you specify a cancel reason code when you cancel an order or an order line. If you cancel orders using other Order Entry forms, then the application uses the default cancel reason code set up at the company level and optionally, at the process level.
