About detail reports

There are four groups of detail reports in Sales Analysis:

• Sales by sales representative

• Sales commission

• Gross profit

• Analysis reports

Detail reports contain non-summarized data; therefore, you must have chosen not to summarize sales data when you set up your Sales Analysis company if you want to print detail reports. You can change the decision you made during company setup at any time. See Changing your summarization setup decision.

The first two reports list sales by sales representative and the commission by representative. Others list gross profit information by item, customer, or sales representative.

The analysis reports analyze sales against contracts and promotions, list credit and debit memos by reason code, and show the performance trend (for example, how late orders were shipped to customers).

Sales Analysis provides online inquiries and printed reports of sales data. You can customize your sales reports using Universe 4GL. Refer to Application Development Workbench for details.
