Batch releasing the shipment

This procedure outlines the process for releasing the shipment using the batch method.

  1. Access Shipment Release (WH190).
  2. Select the company and location for shipment release.
  3. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
    Update

    Select Yes in the Update field to release shipments.

    Batch Number Range

    Specify a range of batch numbers to release shipments that fall within this range. Batch numbers are assigned when you run Pick List Print (WH130).

    Shipment Number Range

    Specify a range of shipment numbers to release shipments that fall within this range.

    Date Range

    Specify a range of shipment dates to release shipments that fall within this date range.

    Document Source

    Select the Lawson application from which the document originated. Values are Case Carts, Customer Orders, or Requisitions.

    Create Flat File

    Select whether to create a flat file. If you select Yes, then the program creates a flat file called WHSHIPREL-NAME.

  4. Select the Add form action.
  5. Submit the job.
