Interfacing pick lists

Pick List Print (WH130) lets you electronically interface pick lists into third-party warehouse systems from the Warehouse application. The program lets you create a flat interface file and the printed form of the pick list. In combination with Batch Feedback Interface (WH520), it allows easy interfacing to and from a third-party warehouse system. WH130 creates a flat file every time it is run (the flat file contains information from the current run of WH130 only).

WH130 creates the output file WHSHIPFLAT in this directory:

Unix: $LAWDIR/ productline /work/WHSHIPFLAT (UNIX)

Windows: %LAWDIR%\ productline \work\WHSHIPFLAT (Windows)

IBMi: LAWDIR/ productline /work/WHSHIPFLAT (IBMi)

For information on the WH130 file layout, see the Warehouse File Layouts.

Follow these steps to interface pick lists into a third-party warehouse system:

  1. Run Pick List Print (WH130) to create the flat file in Lawson format.
  2. Load the flat file into the third-party warehouse system.
  3. Perform any required processing in the third-party warehouse system.
