Inquiring on an existing order

You can inquire on an order and view order and line detail information. When you inquire on an order, you can then maintain order and line options. This procedure explains how to inquire on an existing order.

Access Item Entry (OE10.3).
Select your company in the Company field.

Select an order. Consider these Select options:


Orders by Order Number	Select an order by order number.
Orders for Customer	Select an order for a specific customer. Note: You must first select a customer on the header level before selecting an order.
Orders for Customers	Select an order, categorized by customer name. This displays all orders, beginning with the first customer identifier.
Orders by Customer PO Number	Select an order by a customer purchase order number.
Orders by Hold Code	Select an order by hold code.
Released Orders by Order Number	Select a released order by order number.
Unreleased Orders by Order Number	Select an unreleased order by order number.

Select the Inquire form action.

Options for inquiring on existing orders

These options are available for inquiring on existing orders. Use one of these options to display order and line detail. You cannot make order changes from these forms.

View the items ordered by a specific customer	Item Orders by Customer (OE81.2)
View all orders not shipped for a specific item	Orders Not Shipped by Item (OE81.3)
