Overriding employee work schedule date details

The Infor Contract Pay Administration provides the functionality to override the work schedule date details on the employee contract level. This can be done through the Employee Date Detail Override (CM18.1), which initially loads the Date Detail Maintenance (CM02.1) records of the work schedule tied to the employee’s contract. You can override the day codes and pay codes that initially default to the CM02.1.

Follow these steps to override work schedule date details on employee contract level:

  1. Access the Employee Date Detail Override (CM18.1) through CM13.1 (Employee Contract) Schedule Override button.
Note: The form header fields (that is Company, Contract Year, Employee, Work Schedule, and Contract Number) are display only and defaults to the employee contract that invokes the CM18.1 form.
    Status

This is a display-only field. It shows whether the employee work schedule is still open or is already closed.

Note: The status field must be open to override the pay code and day code values; and should be closed to create contracts or pay out a contract associated with the work schedule.
  2. Complete the Form. Specify this information:
    Position To

Specify the contract date that you want to display as the first line of record on inquiry.

    Date

Refers to the employee contract date. Only dates within the employee contract are populated on CM18.1.

    Day Code

Select the day code to override the existing work schedule record. Day Code describes the type of work day.

Note: A change in the Day Code creates a record on Employee Contract Change Audit (CM35.1) with change type of Schedule Override once the work schedule is set to Closed status. This change could affect the number of contract units after the CM100 run in update mode.
    Pay Code

Select an exception pay code (that is training, workshop, and holiday) that will then reflect on generated time records of the assigned date. This overrides defined pay code on CM02.1 for the specific date and CM14.1 Regular Pay Code.

Note: Contract Time Record Generation (CM130) only reports pay code overrides on paid days of the base assignments.

Work Days and Remaining Days are recalculated if changes in Day Codes affect the number of contract units.
