Overview of contextual applications

Infor Lawson contextual applications allow users of Lawson Portal to view significant information related to the procurement process, employee information process, and invoice payment process in webparts. Web parts are located on the right side of the user interface.

You can view the process at a glance and quickly see the next action that is needed. For example, using requisition to payment, a buyer can see whether requisitioned goods have been delivered. Using invoice payment details, the user can see whether an invoice has been paid. If the webpart does not contain the receiving or payment information, then they know to take action and follow up with the vendor or process the payment.
