Option 5: reconciling manual transactions
- Access Manual Reconciliation Entry (CB25.1) to enter reconciled transactions from a bank statement that the Data Input run option will process on Bank Tape Mass Reconciliation (CB185).

Use these guidelines to create a manual entry
for each reconciled transaction listed on the bank statement:
- Cash Code

Select a valid cash code that represents the bank account that you want to enter the transactions.
- Transaction Code

Select a valid transaction code that represents the type of banking transaction you want to enter.
- Transaction

Specify the transaction number that you will reconcile.
- Reconciliation Date

Specify the reconciliation date of the bank transaction. If you leave this field blank, then the system date is set as default.
- Amount

Specify the reconciled amount of the transaction.
Note: This amount is in the bank account currency defined for the cash code on Cash Code (CB00.2).
- Access Bank Tape Mass Reconciliation (CB185) to reconcile manual entries. This program will create a listing of reconciled transactions and an error report listing transactions that were not reconciled.

Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
- Run Option

Select Data Input to reconcile transactions entered in Manual Reconciliation Entry (CB25.1).
- Cash Code or Cash Code Group

Specify or select a valid cash code, or a group of cash codes.
- Update

Select Yes to update the transactions. Select No to create a listing only.
Note: Bank Tape Mass Reconciliation (CB185) deletes the manual entries after it reconciles them. This program will not reconcile transactions that have a reconciled amount that is different from the issued amount beyond the reconcile tolerances defined for the cash code on Company-Cash Code Relationships (CB00.3). Use Reconciliation Variance Adjustment (CB30.1) to create and release transaction adjustment distributions for the amount of the difference.Run Invoice Reinstatement (AP190) to reinstate accounts payable invoices associated with transactions you void in CB185.
