What is a Product List?

A product list is the main list of items that can be included on a product contract. The product list includes product details such as the base price, the price per user, and the default billed/unbilled, revenue, and cost of goods sold accounts. Product information defaults from the product list into any associated product contracts and maintenance schedules.

Product lists are created on Product List Maintenance (BR50.1). You can view a list of all product lists in your system using Product List Listing (BR250).

Product lists are associated with a product contract on Product Contract (BR51.1) and/or with maintenance schedule on New Maintenance Schedule (BR52.2). You must create a unique product list for each currency in which product contracts or maintenance schedules are created.
