Defining Retention

Retention parameters are used in the Billing and Revenue Management application to delay billing amounts. Retention can be defined for any contract activity and lets you withhold a percentage of the billing amount until a preset ceiling is reached. Thereafter, the amount is fully billable. This procedure describes how to define retention parameters.

Before you define retention, define your activity billing parameters and billing detail.
