Setting up structures: overview
This chapter provides an overview of the setup tasks you must complete before you can bill customers, recognize revenue and generate reports in Billing and Revenue Management. Use this chapter to gain a better understanding of how the succeeding setup chapters fit together and to get an overall view of the required and optional setup procedures.
Note: Before you can bill customers and recognize revenue
in Billing and Revenue Management, you must set up your Project Accounting structure.
The options that you select in activity setup will provide the framework
that is critical for customer billing, revenue recognition and reporting
in the Billing and Revenue Management application.
