Defining Contract Category Groups

Use this procedure to create a contract category group and to add account categories to the group. After creating a contract category group, the group may be used to define billing detail, ceilings, tolerances, and tax information.

To define contract category groups

  1. Access Contract Category Group (BR18.1).
  2. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Contract

    Select the contract for which you are defining a contract category group. An account category can only be included in a single contract category group within a contract.

    Contract Category Group

    Type a unique name and description for the contract category group you are creating.

    Acct Cat

    Select the account category to add to the contract category group.

    Note: Use the Mass Add feature to add multiple account categories to the group at one time on Contract Category Group Mass Addition (BR18.2).
  3. Use the Add function to create the contract category group.
