Defining Jurisdiction Codes

Use Jurisdiction Codes (BR09.1) to define regions that require sequential numbering of invoices and credit memos.

To define jurisdiction codes

  1. Access Jurisdiction Codes (BR09.1).
  2. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Jurisdiction Code

    Type a unique code for the region or area you are defining.

    Description

    Type a description for the jurisdiction code.

  3. If you need to edit the last invoice number used for a jurisdiction code, access Jurisdiction Code Numbering (BR09.2) and press Inquire to display all jurisdiction codes. Use the Invoice Number field to specify the last invoice number used.
