Processing multiple invoices against one authorized amount
You can process more than one invoice against an authorization. A settlement is processed by Billing on a first-come, first-served basis. For example, if a customer was authorized for USD 1000, and three invoices are received. The first invoice, for USD 600, is paid in full, The second invoice, for USD 300, is paid in full. The third invoice, received last for USD 200, is not paid in full. Instead, the application applies the remaining USD 100 from the authorization, and sends USD 100 to Accounts Receivable for collection.
If you select that 100 percent of the order is paid on the credit card, the remaining USD 100 would go through another authorization then settlement process.
