Defining price lists

You can use price lists to modify the price base. You assign price lists to a customer, or to a group of customers that can share a price list.

This procedure shows you how to define price lists:

Procedure flow: Defining price lists
  1. Access Price List (BL45.1).
  2. Specify or select which company you want to add the price list.
  3. In the Price List field, specify or select the price list name.
  4. In the Base Name field, specify or select the price base that this price list modifies.
If you assign price lists to sales classes of items or individual items, then the default percentages and discounts assigned at the level you assign price lists is used by the Billing application.
  5. To sell your items at a certain percentage over the base price, specify the default percent to calculate over the base price in the Default Percent field.
  6. To automatically apply a discount to the items in this price base, select or specify the discount code in the Discount Code field.
  7. To add a charge on orders that contain lines priced with multiple units of measure, specify or select the broken case charge in the Broken Case Charge field.
  8. To add the price list, click Add.
