Master recurring invoice

A master recurring invoice is a template for a specific set of services such as leasing payments. To select how often a customer is billed for a specific service and to control the number of recurring invoices, you must create a master recurring invoice.

These are the two options that you can use to control the number of invoices created for a specific service:

  • Select a start and stop date range
  • Select a start and stop date range, as well as a total number of recurring invoices

To use the first option, you must select the frequency, start date, and stop date. To use the second option, you must select the frequency, start date, and number of invoices. You can select up to 999 recurring invoices for the second option.

After you set up the master recurring invoice and select the option to control the number of invoices, you can assign items and add-on charges to the master recurring invoice.

Note:  You can print both the bill date and the invoice date on the recurring invoice.
