Creating and printing price books (BL/DST)

You create price books to list prices within a specific price base and attach general comments to that price book, or to a sales class or item within that price book. In the price book, you can include up to three different price lists that are associated with the price base you specify.

Procedure flow: Creating and printing price books
  1. Access Price Book (BL48.1).
  2. Specify or select the company to create this price book.
  3. In the Price Book field, specify the price book name.
  4. In the Base Name field, select the price base name to include in this price book.
  5. Optionally, you can specify the price base location in the Location field.
    Note: Use this option only if your company uses location-based pricing.
  6. In the Currency Code field, specify or select the company's base currency code defined in General Ledger
  7. Select at least one price list.
  8. In the Comments field, specify information about the price base to print at the beginning of the price book.
  9. Access Price Book Sales Class (BL48.2) and specify comments to print at the beginning of a sales class of items in the Comments field.
  10. Access Price Book Item (BL48.3) and specify comments to print at the beginning of the pricing information for an item in the Comments field.
  11. Access Price Book Print (BL243) to print the price book.
