Options for defining price bases

If you allow more than one pricing unit of measure, you must specify a price for each pricing unit of measure. If an item has several selling price units of measure, then an asterisk next to the UOM field on Price Base (BL40.1) is displayed in the Billingapplication.

Defining a price for each unit of measure

You can use Multiple Unit of Measure Price Base (BL40.2) to link a price to each unit of measure in which items are priced. On Multiple Unit of Measure Price Base (BL40.2), you can use the Reset button to pull in current pricing UOM for display on this form.

Updating a price for an item

You can use Base List Maintenance (BL40.3) to update a price for an item across all price bases.

Note: You can only update a price in Base List Maintenance (BL40.3) for items priced in a single unit of measure.
