Defining Activity Selection dimension criteria

Specify or select the Activity Group that contains the activities that you want in the budget dimension. Also, specify or select a Level Depth to identify the activities that you want to include. Selecting a numeric level depth includes only the activities that reside at that specific level. For example, if you select Level Depth 2, then only the activities at level 2 in the activity group structure are selected. No activities from level 1 are included. You can select level depth All Posting (P) to include all posting activities in the activity group regardless of the structure level at which they reside.

Specify or select an Activity Group Collection. The activities from the activity groups associated with the activity group collection can be included in the budget dimension. Also, specify or select 1 through 5 or (P) All Posting in the Level Depth field to identify the level of activities that you want. For example, if you select Level Depth 2, then only the activities at level 2 in the activity group structures are selected. No activities from level 1 are included. You can select Level Depth (P) All Posting to include all posting activities for activity groups in the activity group collection regardless of the structure level at which the activities reside.

Specify or select an Activity List that you have established in Lawson Attribute Matrix. When you select this option, the activities that are members of the list are included in the budget dimension.

Click Update List to build a list of members for the dimension based on your activity selection criteria.

Click View Current List to view the list of members in the dimensions. The Activity Preview (EB12.4) form displays.
