Selecting Project Accounting line items

Complete this procedure to select line item data for Budget Line Item Import (EB30.2) when the source is Project Accounting.

  1. On EB30.2, select the budget and report name.
  2. Click Selection to display Line Items from Activity Management (EB31.2).
  3. Verify that the dimensions shown for Account Categories, Activities, and Accounting Units are correct.
    Note: Line item data will be selected from these dimensions. You can select other Account Category, Activity or Accounting Unit dimensions from the budget metadata.
  4. On the Acct Categories tab, select all account categories or a specific account category.
  5. On the Activities tab, select all activities, a list of activities, or a single activity.
  6. On the Accounting Units tab, select all accounting units, a list of accounting units, or a single accounting unit.
    Note: Set the Activity Group (AC00) Accounting Unit Detail flag to Yes. You must also update Activity Management Accounting Unit Posting (AC191) to have accounting unit detail available for activities.
  7. Click Change on the tool bar to update your line item selection.
