Exporting the line item file

Use this procedure to export the line item file:

  1. Once you have completed your budget report in the Pillar application, use the File, Export command to create an ASCII file containing the budget data.
    Note: The file name must match Budget Architect's export report name. You can export column headings.
  2. When you create the export report, you must indicate that the file has column headings.
  3. Use these ASCII separators:

    • Field = comma (,)

    • Record = carriage return (CF-LF)

    • Quote = double quotation mark (")
