Creating the line item export report definition
The purpose of this procedure is to create an export report file definition. Budget Architect uses this file definition to interpret and transfer budget data from the Pillar application's ASCII file to Lawson General Ledger or Project Accounting applications.
- From EB10, select a budget and click Define Rpt. to display Line item Reports (EB30.1).
- On EB30.1, click Export Report to display Budget Line Item Export (EB30.3).
-
Complete these fields on EB30.3:
- Budget Name
-
Select your budget name.
- Report Name and description
-
Select or specify the line item report name in Budget Architect.
Note: The report name must match the name of the ASCII file that you exported from the Pillar application. For example, if the report name is AU-ACCT-EXPORT, then the ASCII file name is AU-ACCT-EXPORT.ASC. Export report file names must not contain spaces or special characters. - Type
-
Specify the Pillar application's report type (asset, liabilities, and equity, revenue or expense).
- Fiscal Year

- Template
-
Specify the line item report column template. This template defines the columns of a budget line item report. See Defining report column templates
Note: The template's columns must match exactly the columns in the Pillar application's export file. - Header

Specify whether the first record in the export file contains column headers.
- Amount Lines
-
Specify whether the export file contains amount rows.
- Unit Lines
