Defining fixed column values

You can override the data populated in a report column with a fixed value. When you use the template in a report definition, the fixed value is replaced by any value that was supplied from your Lawson Business Management System.

  1. Click Override next to the Column Heading field to populate a column with fixed values. The Fix Column Value (EB20.3) form is displayed.
  2. On Fix Column Value (EB20.3), you can select to substitute an alpha or numeric value for the column.
    1. Click the Alpha Value tab.
    2. Specify the alpha characters that override the value in the Alpha Value field.
    3. Select the line types which you plan to override. In the Pillar application, you can have three line types per line item: Amount, Unit, and Rate.
    4. Click the Numeric Value tab.
    5. Specify the numeric values to apply to the Amount, Units, and Rate fields.
  3. Close Fix Column Value (EB20.3). Repeat this process for all dimension columns to replace a fixed value.
