Budget Architect Startup

Before you begin to build budget metadata, you must run the Budget Architect Startup to load the predefined dimension sources and their related information into Budget Architect. This step is required before you can successfully build a budget dimension in Budget Architect.

The Budget Architect Startup is a batch program that automatically loads predefined business objects from Lawson Business Management System. The dimension sources that define the business objects in the Lawson Business Management System are used as sources for budget dimensions.

To perform the Budget Architect Startup, complete these steps:.

  1. Access the Budget Architect application by performing a form transfer to the Budget Architect (EBMN) menu and selecting Budget Architect Startup, or by performing a form transfer to EB100.
    Note: This will display the Budget Architect Startup (EB100) form.
  2. On EB100, specify a Job Name and Job Description. No parameters are required.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Select Submit to submit the job.
