To update dishonored bills of exchange with remittance control

Note: If you resolved a dishonored bills of exchange and you used remittance control, you will need to run this program to create general ledger distribution records for bills of exchange activity since the last time the program was run.
  1. Access Process Dishonored BOEs (DT185).
  2. Select a company and cash code. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Journal book

    If your company is defined as using journal books, type the name of the journal book assigned to the transaction.

    Update

    Select No to run the report without updating general ledger records.

    Select Yes to update general ledger records with dishonored BOE information.
