Defining dunning letter text codes
Note: You must define all the letter text codes to use in
a process code before you define that process code.
- Access Dunning Letter Text Code Maintenance (AR19.1).
-
Select the dunning letter text.
Note: When you define a dunning process code, you assign a letter text code to a dunning level. At print time, the correct language version is automatically selected, based on the language code selected for the customer on Customer (AR10.1).
-
Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
- Text Code
-
Assign a code to the dunning letter text. This represents unique dunning letter text and its translated versions.
- Language Code
-
Select the language code in which the text is typed.
- Text
-
Specify the text for the dunning letter in the language represented by the language code.
If you want to specify the same text in a different language, then repeat the steps keeping the same text number.
- Extended Text
-
Specify the text of the dunning letter in the language specified in the language code.
Lines 7-12 will print on AR141 only if there is text in any of the lines (Line 7-12).
Note: If you are using pre-printed forms for Dunning Letters, verify that the form allows space for all 12 lines.
- Select the Add form action to save the letter.
- (Optional) To define a process code, click Dunning Process Code Maint to open Dunning Processing Code Maintenance (AR18.3).
