Creating Basic Dunning Letters

If you to print dunning letters, you can select from a basic or advanced letter. The basic dunning letter process is easy to set up (write the text, create the letters, and print them) and provides the minimal functionality that you need. This section describes how to produce dunning letters using the basic process.

To create basic dunning letter text

  1. Access Dunning Text (AR18.1).
  2. Select the dunning letter text. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Text Number

    Type a number representing a text and all its translations.

    Language Code

    Select the language in which the text is typed. If this field is left blank, the system assumes the default language used in your environment.

    Text

    Type the text for the dunning letter in the language represented by the language code.

    If you want to type the same text in a different language, repeat the steps keeping the same text number.

  3. Select the Add form action to save the letter.
