Asset groups

Asset groups are groupings, or categories, of assets that you can use to reference, process, or report on several assets simultaneously.

To group certain assets together for reporting purposes, you can assign an asset group to them. For example, some assets are related but depreciate over different lives.

Asset Group = BLDG (building)
Asset Number	Description	Life
2004	Building	30 years
2050	Roof	15 years
2071	Parking lot	10 years
