Associating asset information with procurement records
The minimum requirement to interface an invoice with Asset Management is that the released invoice must be associated with an asset template. An asset template provides the minimum information required to create an asset when the asset is interfaced.
Assets templates are defined using Asset Templates (AM2.1). Defining asset addition templates
Asset information is automatically made available to the Asset Management application when the invoice is released.
In addition, Accounts Payable and other Procurement applications users are also given the option to provide detailed asset information at several points before an invoice is released. Your organization can determine the appropriate stage at which specific asset information can be added.
