Attribute lists
An attribute list is a set of attributes and value ranges used to select a list of assets. Lists are used in reporting, processing, and other tasks.
Lists can be automatic or manual and can contain a combination of user-defined and Lawson-defined attributes.
-
To create an automatic list, you select attributes belonging to object type ASSET and define value ranges for these attributes. Attribute Matrix automatically builds a list of members that meet the criteria specified in the list. The list is updated automatically any time you add a new member that meets the criteria.
Note: After you convert an automatic list to a manual list, the manual list loses all connection with any attributes that were originally used to create it. -
To create a manual list, you first create an empty list without attributes, then click the Manual List button to specify the assets that belong to the list. You can also convert an automatic list to a manual list, but you cannot convert a manual list to an automatic list.
Note: You cannot create lists for Project Accounting transactions, General Ledger transactions, Multi-Book Ledger transactions, or Strategic Ledger transactions.
