Option 2: copying multiple activities at one time

Define a run group to copy multiple activities. Use
these guidelines to specify the field values:
- Run Group

Specify a name to identify the run group. You will use the run group in Activity Copy (AC110) to copy all the activities you define on this form.
- From Activity Group

If you are copying activities to an activity group that does not exist, then Activity Copy (AC110) will create the activity group for you. Select the activity group you want to use as the source information for the new activity group.
Note: Activities associated with the activity group in the From Activity Group field are not automatically copied.If you are copying activities within an existing activity group or to another existing activity group, leave this field blank.

If you want Activity Copy (AC110) to create a new activity group and assign the new group to the new activities, then specify the new activity group name and description. The From Activity Group is the source of information for the new activity group.
If you are copying activities within an existing activity group or to another existing activity group, then select the activity group that you want to assign to the new activities.

Select the activity you want to copy from.
- To Activity

Specify the activity you want to create.
- To Level Address

Specify the level address for the new activity.
- Type

Select Posting, Summary, or Contract to identify the activity type for the new activity. The default setting is Posting.
- More

Use More to type a short or long description and a date range for the new activity. Activity dates are optional. If you leave the fields blank, then the From Activity description is used.
- Access Activity Copy (AC110).
- On the Type of Copy tab, select the run group you defined on AC11.1 in the Run Group field. Leave the Single Activity fields blank.

On the Options tab, select the additional information
to copy from the source activity to the new activity. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
- Long Description

Select whether to copy the From Activity's long description.
- Asset
-
Select whether to copy the From Activity's activity asset parameters.
- Resource Assignment

Select whether to copy the From Activity's resource assignments.
- Account Category Assignment

Select whether to copy the From Activity's account category assignments.
- Account Assignments

Select whether to copy the From Activity's General Ledger account assignments.
- Burden Assignments

Select whether to copy the From Activity's burden assignments.
- Activity Attributes
-
Select whether to copy the From Activity's activity attributes along with any assigned attribute values.
- User Analysis Fields

Select whether to copy the From Activity's default user analysis values.
- POP Dates

Select whether to copy the From Activity's period of performance dates. The default setting is No.
- POP Template

Specify or select a period of performance template.
- Award Data

If you are using Grant Management, select whether to copy the From Activity's award information. If you select Yes (Y), then it will copy award information such as protocols, deliverables, personnel, and subcontractors. The cost share and program activities are not included in the copying process. The default setting is No.
- Budget Edit Parameters

Select whether to copy the From Activity's budget edit parameters.
