Optional procedure: producing a subtotal or total

You can produce a subtotal or total for specific fields. For example, you want to sort transactions by account category within activity and produce subtotals for the transaction amount by account category within activity. To produce a subtotal or total, you must do these:

• Include the field or fields as sort criteria on the Sort tab.

• Select Yes in the Total Break field on the Layout tab for each field.

• Select Yes in the Count Total field to indicate which columns will be totaled when subtotals and grand totals are produced.
