Advanced Compute Options (LM35.1)
Use Advanced Compute Options (LM35.1) to create breakpoint ranges for use in conjunction with the Compute Statement to calculate lease payments.
By creating breakpoint ranges and comparing them to the value derived from the compute statement, you can generate conditional lease payments.
For example, a lease contract may say that the first 99.00USD of sales has no affect on rent. However, 100.00USD to 500.00USD of sales equals 1 percent of the sales added to your rent. In addition, 501.00USD to 5,000.00USD of sales equals 1.5 percent of those sales added to your rent. If you had 600.00USD of sales for the month (this is the value derived from the compute statment, the Advanced Compute Option total is (401 * .01)+(99 * .015)=$5.50. This value is then added to the Compute statement assigned on LM30.1 to determine your lease payment.
You can further restrict the search for data to a range of accounts or an account group, a range of subaccounts or a subaccount group, or a budget.
You can also assign a maximum amount. When this value is exceeded by the advanced compute formula, the maximum amount value is used instead.
