HR Writer Setup (HR65.9)
Use HR Writer Setup (HR65.9) to define the detail detail records associated with the employee.
This form works in the same way as screen 7. Items are assigned include and exclude values and ranges and are grouped using item groups. The same selection rules apply here as in screen 7. In addition to this criteria, a date range has been provided to simplify the inclusion of dated information (i.e. Payment Date, Transaction Date, etc.).

If a date range can be used to limit the detail records chosen it is recommended to enter one in order to speed processing. A specified date range will be more efficient than choosing date as a selection item and assigning a range at the bottom of the screen. Also, this date range may be overridden at run-time so as to allow the same format, sort, and selection parameters to be used for various date sensitive reporting without redefining the report parameters each time. An option is included on this screen to exclude the employee or applicant from the report if no qualified detail records are found even if that employee/applicant has qualified according to the population criteria set up with screens 6 and 7.
