Base Currency (HR30.2)
Use Base Currency (HR30.2) to
- view the cost in the company's base currency,
- change the cost in the base currency using any amount you want,
- recalculate the cost in the base currency using a different number for the exchange rate, and
- access the Currency Calculation window, to perform "what if" scenarios using different exchange rates.
Note: When you select OK, the application returns to the original form.
To update the record in the Human Resources application, use the Change action.
Processing Effect
The value in the company's base currency is calculated using the exchange rate in CU10.1 (Exchange Rates). The Human Resources application uses the exchange rate in effect on the job code effective date. You can also type an exchange rate of your choice.
