Award Personnel (GM03.1)
Use Award Personnel (GM03.1) to assign personnel to a grant activity and to maintain personnel information for the activity. Award personnel includes the Principal Investigator (PI), co-PI's, grant administrators, and researchers.
The employee name will not automatically update when the name of the employee on HR11.1 changes. A warning message will be displayed if this occurs. To update the employee name, you need to manually change it in HR Employee Assignment in AC03.3.
Note: PI is an important role to define, as it prints on several Grant
Management reports and determines routing in some ProcessFlow processes. You
can also sort some Grant Management reports by PI.
You can assign ownership percentages and/or committed percentages to individual role/employees. These numbers are for display on various reports.
