GL Commitment History Update (GL192)

Run GL Commitment History Update (GL192) to record encumbrance information from GLCOMMIT to GLHISTCOM. All open encumbrances at the time the report is run are included in the update.

GL192 is required in order to generate a report for final commitment and encumbrance results for a prior year and period.

GL192 should be run when commitments and encumbrances for a period reflect the final period-end status, just prior to GL197 and GL199. After running GL192 in update, GL298 Report Type G can be used to report on historical encumbrance information. Report Writer can also be used to report on prior period commitments and encumbrances as they existed at the end of the period.
