Summary Account Attributes (GL16.1)

Use Summary Account Attributes (GL16.1) to assign attribute values to a summary account. Only user-defined attributes defined for the Accounting Unit (ACCTU) object type in Attributes (MX00.1) display.

Attributes assigned to the summary account default to each detail account. You can override the attributes for each detail account using the Att button in Detail Accounts (GL00.3).

You can assign a template to the summary account. The template is a group of attribute values for an object type. You can use a template to quickly and consistently assign attribute values. The template is defined in Attribute Template (MX05.1).
