Transfer (BR40.3)
Use Transfer (BR40.3) to transfer a billable transaction from one activity to another or to transfer a portion of a transaction to another activity. Fields you can change in the transfer include activity, account category, resource type, resource, labor attribute, amount, units, and unit of measure.
Processing Effect
The transfer creates two unposted Activity Transaction file records. One record reverses the transaction from the original activity by copying the original transaction and reversing the amount and units signs. The second record posts the revised transaction to the new activity. Both transactions are posted the next time AC190 (Activity Posting) is run.
