Book Purge (AM310)

Run Book Purge (AM310) to purge the book records for the selected book and company or company group from the Asset Management Asset Book (AMASTBOOK) (UNIX/Windows) or (DBAMASB) (IBM i) file. The purpose of this program is to purge book records that are not necessary.

You must change the status of any book that you will purge to I (Inactive).

If you select H (Historical) in the Purge field, then only records flagged as historical are deleted. If you keep the default value A (All), then all the book records are deleted for the company or company group.

Note: This program permanently deletes data. Before you run this program, back up the data according to your organization's procedures. Before you submit the report, carefully review the parameters.
