Commitment History Analysis (AC47)

Use Commitment History Analysis (AC47) to analyze subsystem commitment detail for selected activities for an "as of date".

Process at a Glance

Run Activity Commitment History Load (AC147) to record encumbrance balances and detail transactions from the ACCOMMIT and ACCOMMITX records for a point in time. All open encumbrances at the time the report is run are included in the captures. AC147 is required in order to generate a report for final commitments and encumbrances for prior period.

AC147 should be run when commitments and encumbrances for a period reflect the final period-end status, just prior to GL197 and GL199. After running AC147 in update, use the on-line program Commitment History Analysis (AC47) or the report Activity Commitment History (AC247) to report on historical encumbrance balances and detail.
